Who we are

Rosters Online is operated by Benjamin Taber (ABN 79 370 624 476), a sole trader based in New South Wales, Australia. We provide staff rostering and attendance management software to businesses on a subscription basis.

What information we collect

We collect the following personal information:

Account and organisation information

• Your name and email address when you sign up
• Your organisation's name and logo

Employee information (entered by you)

• Employee names, email addresses, and phone numbers
• Shift assignments and attendance records

Billing information

• Payment details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We retain a Stripe customer reference ID only.

Usage information

• We collect basic technical information such as login activity to support the operation of the service.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Rosters Online service
• Send transactional emails such as team invitations, password resets, and attendance notifications
• Respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form
• Process subscription payments via Stripe
• Improve the reliability and performance of the service

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Who we share your information with

We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate Rosters Online:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication (AWS infrastructure)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — application hosting

Each of these providers processes data only as necessary to deliver their service and is bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure, hosted on Amazon Web Services. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We implement row-level security controls to ensure each organisation can only access their own data.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion of your data, we will delete your account and associated records within 30 days. You can request deletion by emailing info@rostersonline.com.au.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Make a complaint about how we handle your information

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Cookies

Rosters Online uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
