1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Rosters Online, a staff rostering and attendance management service operated by Benjamin Taber (ABN 79 370 624 476), trading as Rosters Online, based in New South Wales, Australia.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Rosters Online provides web-based software for managing staff rosters, recording attendance, and generating attendance reports. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login details with others or allow unauthorised access to your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or harmful data
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the service

5. Subscription and billing

Rosters Online is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing is as published on our website at the time of subscription.

Free trial

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to the service. A valid payment method is required to start a trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

Plan limits

The Starter plan supports up to 20 active employees. Exceeding this limit will require an upgrade to the Professional plan.

6. Data and privacy

We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, available at rostersonline.com.au/privacy. By using the service you consent to that processing.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Rosters Online. We do not claim any rights over your data.

7. Confidentiality

We treat your business data as confidential and will not access it except to provide the service, respond to a support request you initiate, or as required by law.

8. Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the service is harmful or unlawful. We will provide notice where practical.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@rostersonline.com.au.

Upon termination, we will retain your data for 30 days before deletion, during which time you may request an export.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
